在一个春光明媚的下午，老师带我们参观了西安丰镇污水处理厂。
走进处理厂的大门，我看到几个用混凝土砌成的硕大水池，耳边还有机器的隆隆声。污水处理厂的刘厂长介绍说：这是水泵把污水抽进水池的声音。他把我们带到一个大水池前告诉我们，这个水池叫格栅池，通过它对污水进行初步处理，然后，污水依次进入调节池厌氧池缺氧池好氧池等，最后进入生态净化区。直到达到我们国家规定的排放标准。听了刘厂长的介绍，我觉得污水处理起来还真是很复杂。
这里有鱼！不知是谁喊了一声，我循声望去，只见身后有一个不大的养鱼池，一群鱼儿吐着泡泡悠然地游着，好像在欢迎我们的到来。污水处理厂还能养鱼？刘厂长笑着说：这的确是养鱼池，是用来检测被处理过的水的水质的一项措施。如果水质不合格，鱼虾就会有不良反应。
参观结束了，我带着满满的收获离开了污水处理厂。这是不同于平时课堂的一种学习方式，我们更喜欢以实践的形式接受知识。

Father used to be a heavy smoker. He always smoked when he waswatching TV,reading newspapers and so on. Mother and I had advised him to quit smoking many times.
