轰动水牛城的少女宣儿失踪案已经第三次开庭了，大量证据表明，被警方控制的嫌犯杀了人。但前两次开庭，受害方律师给大家留下的印象似乎太老实了，话语不多，态度谨慎，大家都开始为受害方担心了，怕他们赢不了官司，因为相比之下。嫌犯的律师聪明伶俐，话语滔滔，机智而善辩。
果然，此次开庭以后，利用警方尚未发现尸体这一点，聪明律师做起了文章，在一番动人的演讲后，他突然朝陪审团宣布，少女宣儿找到了，并指着右侧门说，一分钟后，宣儿将从这里走进来。在场所有人都大吃一惊，纷纷转身朝那道门看去。一分钟过去了，宣儿并没有出现，却听到聪明律师悦耳的声音：一个死去的人是不会出现的，你们为什么还要朝那里看去呢?这说明你们并不肯定宣儿已死，既然如此，指控是不能成立的。

老实和聪明并不是一对反义词，当然也不是一对同义词。在词性的社会学意义上，聪明往往与智商、战术和具体事件的策略计谋相关。当我们觉得一个人老实的时候，基本上就肯定了他的诚实和忠厚，相信了他的品格，所以，老实更多是一种道德的力量。
所以，至少在少女宣儿案中我们可以得知，老实也是一种聪明，而聪明并不永远都是聪明。
做人做事，其实真的好难。太老实了，容易让自己痛苦，“人善被人欺”;太聪明了，又容易让别人痛苦，“既生瑜，何生亮”。我们，往往就在这种老实和聪明之间做着艰难的抉择，有时候，真有做墙上草的无奈和忧郁之感。
其实，我认为我们大可不必在到底是老实地做人做事还是聪明地做人做事这个问题上太过于纠结。我认为最好的态度是:老实聪明地做人做事。
老实，是做人做事的根本。在中国这样一个几千年来一直以农业为立国根本的国度里，更看重老实。“老老实实做人，踏踏实实做事”，就是强调无论做人还是做事，都必须老实，如果没有老实，什么都成了空谈。中国新民主主义革命和社会主义革命取得胜利的法宝也是“实事求是”，说穿了，无非也是要求老实做事，靠着这种精神，中国革命取得胜利，社会主义建设得到发展，伟大复兴的中国梦想正在逐步实现。
没有老实做人做事的精神，曹雪芹不会经历十载，批阅数次写成流芳百世的《红楼梦》，马克思也不会用四十年的光阴写出《资本论》。没有老实做人做事的精神，革命先烈不会浴血奋战、舍身忘死换来崭新的国家，体育健儿不会忍受孤独、耀武扬威奥运赛场为祖国挣得殊荣。所以，老实是立人成事的关键，没有老实，一切都是空中楼阁。

我用最快的速度在考场瞄了一眼作文题，老实与聪明。脑海中第一个闪现的人，就是我的父亲。
人人都说他老实，上班老实守纪，为人老实诚恳。在他的世界里，做好本分的事，经营一个和睦的家，谦让一个好强的老婆，养育一对不省心的儿女。一切，都如唐僧在悟空划定的辟邪圈里运转，从未越轨半步，哪怕只是一点点想法。
年少的记忆里，父亲在家言语不多，像一头永不疲惫的牛，在家里家外忙碌。下班回家，拉过一个小木凳，在院前吧啦吧啦几口旱烟，余光仍在扫视着家里是否有需要他做的活儿。偶有小朋友过来，绕在他的膝盖边玩耍，父亲总是憨憨地将他们举起，逗得孩子发出银玲般的笑，然后满意地跑开。邻里间有需求，自不用多说，力大无比的父亲总是跑在最前，扛起最重的活。至今记得有一天夜里，父亲回来告诉母亲，说今晚学校开会，校长在大会上表扬了某某某搬走了一颗影响学校形象的巨石。母亲出离地愤怒了，因为弄走巨石的人是我父亲，但校长却不明就理地把表扬给了别人。在一旁做作业的我，也在内心嘀咕，明明是你做的，为何不说，为何自己受累却要让别人抢占风头，为何要做那个老实人。再一联系平时，我的眼前就拼凑起了这样的画面，老实巴交地埋头做事，再苦再累不抱怨的，从未给领导递一根烟，从未给领导送一次礼的，就是他，我的父亲，我那并不能给我带来骄傲的父亲。甚至，我开始羡慕那些别家的孩子，有一个圆滑处世，会溜须拍马，和领导称兄道弟，懂得迎来送往的父亲。
但羡慕终归是羡慕，父亲终不会因为母亲的埋怨，我们的虚荣而改变他的处世哲学。多年后，我已经站上了讲台，父亲也早已退休。闲不住的他在学校寻得一份花工的差事，于是，便有了每天和我一起早起上班的日子。很多次，我在讲台上撕扯着喉咙，父亲在窗外推着除草机劳作，那轰隆隆的声音总让我忍不住瞧上一眼。烈日下的父亲，穿着十几年前的旧衣，如老农一般挥汗如雨，黝黑的肌肤灼伤了我的眼睛。铃声一响，我奔出教室，厉声地对他吼道，你看这样的暑天，还有几个人像你一样，你就不怕中暑，一个月给你多少钱，让你这样卖命?父亲拉过围在脖子上的毛巾，揩去挂在眼帘上的汗珠，振振有词地说，拿钱做事，做事就要做好。除了递上一瓶水，我真拿这个一辈子老实巴交的他没有办法。为什么?为什么他就不会聪明一点?为什么他除了老实，就只剩老实呢?

是的，我这老实的父亲，一生信奉的不就是活得简单自在而知满足吗?三餐可以无肉，衣物只需蔽体，上床就能酣眠。比起那些在物欲世界里沉浮，在功名利禄里进退的人来说，父亲的生活是乏味的，父亲的思维简单的。但，当我看到那些人，那些曾在宦海中极尽一生之力，在红尘里招蜂引蝶，拈花惹草，老来却孤零零地在操场上郁郁独行的时候，我又不得不欣然地承认，父亲的处世哲学，简单，却又充满了智慧。
当鱼与熊掌冲突时，可舍鱼取熊掌也;当生与义矛盾时，可舍生而取义也;然而当老实与聪明相并时，应兼而有之，因为两者兼有乃人生一大智慧。
老实是实诚、忠厚、专一，并不是傻里傻气成一根筋;聪明是机智、敏锐，而非偷奸耍滑。老实是一个人的做事原则，不可丢弃;聪明是一个人的做事方法，亦不可丢弃，唯有二者兼而有之，才是最佳的处世智慧。
老实与聪明兼有决定了一个人的品性，是人能够健康发展的前提。荀子曰:“蚓无爪牙之利，筋骨之强，上食埃土，下饮黄泉，用心一也。”蚯蚓可谓老老实实，踏实专一，同时这种老实兼有聪明，因为它选择了最有效的方法，灵活出入于埃土和黄泉之间。它老实的做事原则加上它聪明的做事方法，成就了自己的可贵品性。
老实和聪明兼而有之，可以成就自己的事业。古之成大事业大学问者，无一不是兼有老实和聪明的人。楚汉相争，刘帮率先入关，老实地遵守怀王与諸将的约定，准备做关中王。不料项羽欲挥师入关，形势危急之下刘帮聪明地任用张良之谋，化险为夷，为他夺取天下保存了实力。为什么刘帮能够化险为夷，最终战胜强大的项羽呢?因为刘帮兼有老实和聪明，顺利时老实地步步为营，失利时聪明地化险为夷，最终使自己的事业走向成功。

Seeing the No. 20 Bus disappearing into the distance, a sense of delight filled my heart. It made me so happy and proud to offer others in need a helping hand, and in this case, I was also able to show foreigners how friendly the city of Beijing was.

Evidently, realizing this difference and trying to shorten this gap is the key to achieving our accomplishment, otherwise nothing will be gotten in the end.
In our daily life, some people are aware of their ability, making great efforts to improve themselves, while others ignore the disparity between their earnest wish and poorest actuality, doing nothing but complaining. Conceivably, the confused man in the picture is exactly the latter one. In this picture, a man is fishing on a big stone, waiting and waiting. However, the small fish he has caught is totally different from the big one he is longing for. Now, there are two options in front of him: face the reality and keep trying till get the dreamy fish, or drop his fishing rod and feel desperate. Apparently, he chooses the second one.
