回家的路上，妈妈一直沉默不语，快到家的时候，妈妈语重心长地对我说，因为相信我能做好自己的事情，所以在很多方面都没有像别人家的家长一样严加管束，事事过问，因为她觉得我一天天在成长为一个有责任有担当的男子汉，关于学习那是做为一个学生最基本的责任，而且是自己的事情，以为我会完成得很好，结果我太让她失望了，妈妈希望我从中吸取教训，明白男子汉有所为，有所不为，做什么都要有责任感，要有担当。
最后，虽然我在家里补齐了作业，老师也让我报名上学了，但我通过这件事情深深地体会到了一个道理，每个人无论做什么事情，都必须脚踏实地，有责任感，弄虚作假，偷工减料，是对自己不负责的表现，因为世界上不是每件事情当它做不好的时候都会有补救的机会，只有一开始做好了，我们才不用后悔。
