今天下了场雨，雨不大，但也湿润了大地，莫小麦喜欢这样的天气，不阴不晴，淡淡的感觉就好。站在教室外的阳台，就那样望了很久，直到望到那片麦田——她的最爱。
莫小麦喜欢麦田，连她自己也不知道为什么。她微低着头，手倚在下巴上，感受着春回大地的清新。也许是因为痴迷于那部《麦田里的守望者》的原因吧，可是，直到现在，她也没弄明白那个主人公守望的是什么?
是麦田里的幸福吗?
莫小麦睁大了她可爱的眸子，凝视着那片麦田，麦地不远，出了校门，就可以走到了。春天的麦子才刚刚返青，很小很嫩呢，大约过了夏天，这些稚嫩的小家伙便可以散发出阳光暖暖的味道了吧!而现在，她看见的是一株株小麦很坚强地挺立着身子，簇拥在那儿，无比生机的样子。
耐不住寂寞，小麦课间就跑去了麦地。三月的新鲜气息扑鼻而来，湿润湿润的，她才明白泥土的香味真的可以嗅到。其实，莫小麦最近很不开心的，总是感觉自己离幸福很远。
麦田里绿油油的，攒动着一个个小小的生命，低矮的麦浪浅浅地翻动，掀起风与麦子的嬉戏。风有些放肆，绿色的麦浪翻滚得急了些，她似乎看见大海唯美的轮廓。是的，它们这些小精灵啊，把小手都挥舞起来，摇动着，像是在欢呼呢。
“看来它们很喜欢我哦!”小麦心里甜甜地想，一抹会心的笑荡了起来，和麦浪融成一片。她也看到了麦苗儿的笑脸，莫小麦感觉自己已经与小麦融合成一幅最美的乡村图景了，她感觉在麦田里，离幸福近了。
莫小麦俯下身子，眼睛紧紧地盯住一株麦苗。在雨水的滋润下，麦苗儿似乎变得光彩多了，修长的叶面上滞留着数颗晶莹的玻璃水钻，那种颜色，透明的，晶亮的，可以透过去看见叶子上的毛孔，一点一点，都很清晰，她知道这些雨滴就是世界上最纯洁的东西了。
小麦努力地睁大瞳孔，她看见叶面比以前舒展多了，平整得像纸页，是那种绿意盎然的纸页，这种显眼的绿真的很蓬勃，叶片的最上面是愈来愈尖的“头顶”，怪不得飘动得如此柔情呢?
莫小麦忽然跨出脚，走到麦地中间，土地湿软湿软的，像块大大的棉花，软到心里去了，莫小麦相信自己是稻草人，目光在很远的远方，盼着幸福的来临，她真的是麦地里的守望者，守候着这些美好的绿色小天使，守望希望，并祈祷要一直一直幸福下去。
麦田的幸福在眼前的绿转成深黄的时候来临。丰收之后，麦田就幸福地完成使命，可是她莫小麦呢?
莫小麦的幸福很简单，只是一种美好而快乐的感觉罢了。此刻，莫小麦的刘海在麦浪中吹拂，刘海不长却很乱，淋漓得洒脱，亦拨乱了她的思绪。
头顶上的蓝天依旧如此，悠悠地飘来了一份新的幸福意蕴，守望幸福，幸福就一定会到。莫小麦的下一站是幸福，麦子的下一站亦是，每一个守望者也如此。
莫小麦想，每个人都是麦田里的守望者，呆在麦田里，伸长脖子，踮起脚尖，眺望远方，看见了，看见了，收获的时节已招手笑望!

I read the Chinese version of Camille a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. Camille or The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800's, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.
However, happiness didnt last for long. When M. Duval, Armand's father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armand's reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumas's last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.
As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to wake up and smell the coffee and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without keeping her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

The tests given to the little guy often matter to personal interest, or personal safety, but that doesn't mean little test has no effect on the overall situation.
