If youre a vampire, its all about you. Why is Edward Cullen obsessed to the point of erotomania by Bella Swan? Because she smells so yummy, but he doesnt want to kill her. Heres what he tells her: He must not be around her. He might sink his fangs in just a little, and not be able to stop. She finds this overwhelmingly attractive. She tells him he is the most beautiful thing she has ever seen. I dont remember Edward ever saying that to her. Maybe once. He keeps on saying they should stay far, far apart, because he craves her so much.

Should a woman fall in love with a man because he desires her so much? Men seem to think so. It's not about the woman, it's about the man's desire. We all know there is no such thing as a vampire. Come on now, what is Twilight really about? It's about a teenage boy trying to practice abstinence, and how, in the heat of the moment, it's really, really hard. And about a girl who wants to go all the way with him, and doesn't care what might happen. He's so beautiful she would do anything for him. She is the embodiment of the sentiment, I'd die for you. She is, like many adolescents, a thanatophile.

The movie is lush and beautiful, and the actors are well-chosen. You may recall Robert Pattinson (Edward) as Cedric Diggory, who on Voldemort's orders was murdered in a graveyard in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Maybe he was already a vampire. Pattinson is not unaware of how handsome he is. When Bella and Edward, still strangers, exchange stern and burning looks in the school cafeteria, he transfixes her with a dark and glowering - nay, penetrating - stare. I checked Pattinson out on Google Images and found he almost always glowers at the camera 'neath shadowed brow. Kristen Stewart's Bella, on the other hand, is a fresh-faced innocent who is totally undefended against his voltage.

The movie, based on the Stephenie Meyer novel, was directed by Catherine Hardwicke. She uses her great discovery, Nikki Reed, in the role of the beautiful Rosalie Hale. Reed wrote Hardwick's Thirteen (2003) when she was only 14. That was a movie that knew a lot more about teenage girls. The girl played by Reed in that movie would make mincemeat of Edward. But I understand who Twilight appeals to, and it sure will.WWw.zuOWEN101.COM

The Miserable World is a historical culture legacy reflecting the tragic life and destiny of the human in the middle of nineteen century in France. The original indication of the name of this novel was people whore suffering from great difficulty, it attaches importance on the tragedy and position of the impoverished people, by doing this, Hugo was able to stress on the main idea of the novel, which is most exciting and attentive aspect, leading all of the readers to deep thinking.

We notice that in the preface, Hugo pointed out As long as the social restrictions caused by laws and customs still exist, the human society would be turned to be a hell and people will suffer from inevitable disasters. If we couldnt get rid of the following three issues existing in this century men are getting down because of poorness, women are turning to be degenerate because of starving, children are becoming weak and helpless because of pervasive darkness of the world. In a boarder sense, if there are still foolish and impoverish in this world, the books with the character similar to this book will be conductive. In the society of Hugos book, the labour are living the miserable life and exploited by the factories, the conscience of the human are disappearing because of the poverty, and peoples body and soul are distorted and afflicted by the prison. The misfortune of Valjean and Fantine is just the condensation of the destiny of the poor.

The Miserable World reveals the sin and villainy of the vice aspects of capitalism institution by telling the stories of the tragic life of Valjean and Fantine who were persecuted by the cruel world. The story strongly tells us the fact that the tragedy people are suffering is exactly the tragedy of the whole society. At the same time, Hugo putted a lot of emphasis on displaying the strong will and hardship of the individual through describing the internal agony and obsession of the main characters. The underlying reason why and how the whole miserable world take place is complicated and it needs fundamental analysis which given by Hugo on the basis of a democracy and humanism. He came up with the view that the country was out of rule of law, and the empty and hypocritical law, social injustice and inequity are the criminal result in the miserable life of the people as well as the whole society. Hugo went to great length to disclose the darkness, to protest the violence and injustice, to pursue the human right and democracy, the book shows great concern about the people and love. This novel is outstanding and valuable because it has surpass the history and reality, people in modern society can be influenced by it under theme of crucial issue of human life, people in our age will get sustainable progress in seeking our completion, perfect and harmony.

Victor Hugo , as a humanist , pays the most attention to the combat of human natures , not the struggle of classes in Les Misrables. He describes the changing of the hero from human to devil and then to angel , expressing his expectation of good human nature and progress in civilization. He reflects on the history of mankind in various aspects and criticizes the actual world in the name of future and human.

The Metamorphosis, written in 1912, is one of Kafkas masterpieces. It talks about Gregor Samsa. One morning, when he woke up, he found himself transformed into a gigantic insect. At first, his parents and sister were filled with compassion and they cared for him. But at last, they regarded him as a burden, leaving him alone. In the end, he died in loneliness quietly. From my point of view, The Metamorphosis is the immortal classic in the modern literature history.

First of all, the tragedy of Gregor Samsa is just the epitome of Kafka himself. In his whole life, he lived just like an insect. He cant realize his dream because of the poor situation, and he didnt have possession of love. So he thought he was small and had no confidence. While in his work, The Metamorphosis, Gregor Samsa might be a kind of distorted hopelessness. He was a giant created by a lifelong loneliness. So we can see a picture of Kafka.

Besides, Kafka expressed his accusation the distorted values of people and questioned the human nature. Gregor Samsa once supported his family, but when he transformed into an insert, his family started to disgust him with the time going, and even detest him in the end, hoping that he could die earlier with a disdainful eyes. How selfish、indifferent and cruel they are!

Lastly, Kafka criticized the capitalist society. In the early 21 century, the World War 1 happened. The inhumanity and slaughter can be seen everywhere. Money worship as well as the labor press is the source of distorted humanity and values of people. So The Metamorphosis can reflect the society at that time.

We can draw the conclusion that there is some philosophy in The Metamorphosis, which is the reason that why it is classic in the modern literature history.

Hamlet of Shakespear is a classical representative work. This book certainly does not have the big difference in the superficial plot with the historical fable, spoke or the Danish prince the story which revenged for the father, in which fills the rank smell of blood violence and dies.Just like the dramatis personae Horatio said: you may hear to to rape massacre, the unusual repair behavior, the dark center decision, accidental slaughter, borrows the hand murder , as well as falls into suicide result.

This storys name is The little prince。 As it known to all, we will encounter a lot of difficulties, even hardships. Different people may have different ways to deal with them. After reading The Little Princess, I am deeply impressed by Saras way to deal with difficulties. The Little Princess was written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, a famous novelist and dramatist. Sara, the heroine of the novel, was born in a rich family. In order to get a better education, her father took her from India to London so that she could go to the best school. Because Sara was kind-hearted, generous and most of allrich, she was loved by everyone. All went well until her father died in an accident. Everything changed completely. She didnt understand why the teachers and classmates treated her so badly. Even the principal who used to be fond of her, made her work 16 hours a day. Saras miserable life began. When I finished reading the book, I was shocked by what the unimaginable pain Sara had suffered after her fathers death. She used to be a happy, worriless, and rich Princess, but now she was a lonely and poor servant. She had to work very hard without any rest but only had little food. Besides she had to endure the unfriendly and even rude ways that her classmates treated her. All teachers and students in the school looked down upon her. The most important fact is that Sara had lost the love and care of her parents. What a mighty pain! If you were Sara, could you stand such pain? Needless to say, an 11 years old girl, even if it were an adult, he might not put up with it. But to my surprise, Sara faced it bravely.

Despite of the torture of the principal and all those pressures above, she still was optimistic towards life. By reading this novel, I felt inspired and think much. When we meet such difficulties, what should we do? Some people always complain that the fate is unfair to them. Some people cant sustain the hardships and choose to give up. Few of them even try to commit suicide because they lack the courage to overcome it. Compared with Saraan eleven years old girl who can treat the pressure of life with optimistic spirit, these peoples performances are sounded so lamentable. Why cant they make it?However, what impress me most are her characteristics and the thought of her being a real princess. This real princess does not mean luxury palaces, beautiful clothes and the apple of the others eyes, but being kind, generous and having good manners. It is unnecessary for a real princess to be strong in body, but she must be strong in will. Sara is a real princess in my heart all the time, whether she was rich and wore beautiful clothes in the classroom or she was cold and hungry in the attic, just because she had the good characters and kind heart. The story went on. Fortunately, a friend of Saras father found her and told her that her father left a great sum of money to her. I pray and believe that every good person in the world deserve a good result, and of course, we are the same.
